Some members of our new art group, Chicagoland Artist Network, went to the Creative Chicago Expo this past Saturday and we had a wonderful time. The siminars and free goodies were fantastic but there's nothing like experiencing an art event with artist friends and that is one of the functions of our group. I designed my above flyer for our upcoming show, see above.
I'm still working on my new web site http://www.carolynsims.com/ and it should be published real soon, I can't say when. I'm still funsing glass for jewelry and small wall hangings. I have an 8x8 inch kiln so my sizes are limited. I did some painting last week on glossy ceramic tiles. The tiles are slippery, the oil is slippery so it takes some getting used to. I'll post them probably next week.
